What are Risky Points?
Our system continuously analyzes satellite data such as MODIS and Sentinel-2, combined with real-time weather and terrain information, to highlight the most fire-prone locations. These inputs feed into a proprietary AI risk model that evaluates ignition potential across large regions, producing an easy-to-understand risk score for each area.
How it works (simplified):
- Heat: Land surface temperature anomalies detected from thermal imagery.
- Dryness: Vegetation stress and lack of surface water, derived from multispectral indices.
- Green cover: NDVI and related indices to measure fuel availability.
- AI-based Scoring: Our model blends these indicators with additional environmental parameters to rank the Top-10 highest-risk hotspots in any region.
Why it matters
By spotting ignition-prone areas before a fire ignites, Risky Points help:
- Utilities secure transmission corridors
- Foresters plan safe management operations
- Insurance assess exposure and mitigate claims
- Communities stay safer with early alerts
